Our laser pointer strike-protection series of sheet are designed to block hazardous laser pointer emission by at least 90% and up to 98% or more. Such protection significantly reduces the chance for serious eye damage. We strive to block the most common laser hazards in each design but, practically speaking, we cannot block every wavelength and still be able to see through the sheet. We offer nighttime (NITE) filter designs that block six (6) known common laser-hazards for UV, Blue, and Green pointers. 1019-LPP-NITE has the least tint allowing for use in low lighting and vehicle operation. 1019-LPP-NITE-HD protects the same six hazards intensely (blocking 99.999% of emissions), but it is not advisable to be used while operating a vehicle. For those who want to add protection from six (6) Red, Orange, and Yellow pointers to the six (6) common hazards (blocking twelve (12) total known laser-pointers wavelengths), then select 1019-LPP-DAY. This filter is a green color with a color density similar to a sunglass lens. It is designed for use in brighter, day time lighting conditions.

This laser pointer strike-protection sheet provides protection from the most common laser wavelengths in the Blue, Blue/Green, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, and Violet light regions of laser pointers.
Laser Protective Range:
Covering hazards at 405nm, 445nm, 473nm, 515nm, 520nm, 532nm, 589nm, 594nm, 633nm, 635nm, 638nm, and 650 nm by blocking at least 90%, and as much as 98%, of the transmission at each wavelength. That translates into an optical density (OD) of 1 to nearly 2 at each hazard wavelength.
