Red Alignment Filter lens blanks offer protective eyewear manufacturers a cost effective protective polycarbonate lens that is optimized to minimally attenuate alignment beams in the near visible region from 450 nm to 532 nm. Optical density (OD) protection in this range is only 1-2 and is NOT FULL PROTECTION for class 4 lasers. Alignment lenses are to be used by technicians during low-power optical adjustments only. The filter will allow for the faint observation of such beams at low power. Care should always be taken to not look directly into any beam. The filter is available in 73mm diameter x 3 mm thick, 6 base plano power, round, hard coated lens blank.
